An account is required to write and collaborate in Ellipsus, but creating an account is meant to be a quick, easy process so you can get to the important part—the writing—as quickly as possible.
To sign up, simply click the "sign up" button, enter your email address, and follow the prompts on the screen.
Note: When you're invited as a collaborator, our systems have to create a user to assign those collaborator permissions to, which means your email address is already associated with that account. If you sign in (instead of creating an account) and use a one-time code, you should be able to proceed normally!
If you'd like, you can set a password during account creation, or you can utilize the one-time code. (You can set a password at any time.)
From there, you will be prompted to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, answer a few quick onboarding questions to finish setting up your Ellipsus account, and taken to your Dashboard.
