Delete a document or draft
- Click or tap the three dots in the top right corner of the document/draft card.
- Click/tap Delete.
Deleting a document also deletes all of that document's drafts, associated Reader links, etc.
Note: There currently is no trash/recycle bin in Ellipsus. The Ellipsus team can manually restore recent deletions of individual documents or drafts, but cannot perform restorations of entire folders, bulk restorations, etc. To request a restoration, open the help menu in Ellipsus and use the support widget to share the details we'll need to restore the work.
Restore past versions of a document or draft
You can restore deleted work and restore past versions of your document or draft using your version history. To view and restore past versions of your document or draft, click on Version history to view a timeline of your previous writing sessions.
There are two ways to restore a version:
Click the three dots in the top right corner of the version entry and select Restore as new draft.
Click on a version and then select Restore as new draft in the bottom-right.
Restored drafts have the following naming convention until renamed: Draft name - Original creation date [Restored]. Whoever restores a draft will be listed as its owner, even if they’re restoring a draft created or edited by another collaborator.
